THE MAIN CAMP
The main lodge area is home to an open-plan bar, lounge and dining area. The main area extends onto a large wooden deck with a swimming pool that overlooks a floodlit waterhole that is frequently visited by an abundance of wildlife including elephant and lion. WIFI is available in the main area. The nearby sunken firepit just off the deck is a welcoming space for guests looking to find solitude and comfort whilst reading a book in the cool afternoon breeze, it is also the location to enjoy a unique Boma dining experience under the African sky
SOLAR POWER AND USE OF ENERGY
Our aim at Camp Kuzuma is to touch the earth lightly and minimize our carbon footprint. We operate completely off the grid using 100% renewable solar energy systems, with power being generated by solar panels. We do offer air-conditioning but only turn it on at certain times in order to preserve power
LOCATION: Camp Kuzuma is an exclusive and private boutique tented camp located in the pristine Kazuma Forest Reserve in the Chobe region of Botswana. The lodge is located 85 km from Kasane and is approximately an hour’s drive from Kasane Airport.

At Camp Kuzuma we offer our guests the complete African experience with a wide range of activities to choose from. We offer activities on-site at Camp Kuzuma and also off-site luxury African safaris in the surrounding areas to explore Africa. The off-site activities on offer are dependent on visas.
Bird Watching:
The Kazuma Plains are renowned for their prolific birdlife, making Camp Kuzuma perfect for twitchers. For enthusiasts, some 380 different African bird species are found in this region.

Hot Air Balloon Trip:
This sensationally slow form of experiential travel fulfills many people’s dreams of a romantic safari holiday. Glide peacefully through the air, suspended in a basket above the bush. Observe the movement of the herds below and receive a bird’s eye view of grassy plains and Ilala Palms. Please note Hot Air Balloon Trips are operational from 01st May until the 15 th September 2020.
Fishing Expeditions:
The Chobe River is a popular and unique spot for fishing. Camp Kuzuma offers a unique fishing experience which includes transfers, all fishing tackle, soft drinks, snacks, lunch on full days, coffee, tea and a selection of alcoholic beverages.
Spa Treatment:
Enjoy a soothing spa treatment in the wild. We offer reflexology and aromatherapy massages in our open air spa tent.

Half-day Game Drives:
Allowing guests to get more intimately acquainted with the finer details of the bush. We have some amazing trails around the camp where expert guides can introduce our guests to the Small Five: The elephant shrew, leopard tortoise, rhinoceros beetle, ant lion and buffalo weaver!
