Overview

KwaZulu-Natal is a province of South Africa that was created in 1994 when the Zulu bantustan of KwaZulu (“Place of the Zulu” in Zulu) and Natal Province were merged.

    The city’s yearly temperature is 22.85ºC (73.13ºF) and it is 1.63% higher than South Africa’s averages. Kwazulu-Natal typically receives about 106.56 millimeters (4.2 inches) of precipitation and has 159.63 rainy days (43.73% of the time) annually.
