Overview

Lake Naivasha National Park is a unique park with unique features like the extinct volcano Mount Longonot which last erupted in the 1860.

Established in 1995, Lake Naivasha National Park is one of the youngest national parks in Kenya. The freshwater of Lake Naivasha holds a healthy fish population which attracts an astonishing number of waters depending on birds. Up to 30,600 waterfowl occur.

    The months from June to October are considered as the best time to travel around, exploring the wildlife and the scenic beauty. These are the summer season with hot days but bearable situation for the safari activities.
