Part I

Baines’ River Camp | Lower Zambezi Valley, Zambia

Day 1     Arrive at Lusaka International Airport in Zambia for onward air transfer to Baines’ River Camp, located on the Zambezi River.

Day 2 -3 Safari Experience at Baines’ River Camp. Choose from a variety of safari activities: game viewing and birding by boat, open vehicle and canoe or sport angling. Baines’ River Camp further offers sunset cruises and spa treatments.

Part II

Matusadona | Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe

The Matusadona Luxury Safaric Cruiser

Day 4     Depart Baines’ River Camp on a river transfer to the Kafue River for onward road transfer to Matusadona in Zimbabwe (06h30/10h00). Board Matusadona at Marineland and set off for a Lake Kariba cruise before lunch. Moor in the Sanyati Gorge for your first night.

Day 5-7 Cruise Lake Kariba during the heat of the day, mooring for the night at Elephant point, Tashinga and Partridge Island respectively.

The Victoria Falls Hotel | Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Explore

Day 8     Cruise to Bumi Hills in the morning and board the 09h30 flight on a light aircraft to Victoria Falls (scheduled flights throughout the season: Sun, Mon, Fri. High season also on Wed). Visit the Victoria Falls, guided by Russel Gammon and enjoy an old fashioned high tea at your hotel.

Day 9     Participate in one of the adrenaline activities on offer at the Victoria Falls or visit the renowned Victoria Falls market. End your stay at the Falls with a champagne tram ride down onto the famous bridge at sunset. Explore

Day 10-12   Board the Rovos Rail’s train for a 3-day experience on their luxury train through Zimbabwe and Botswana on to Pretoria, South Africa.
