Arrive early for a transfer to your lodge in the gorilla highlands where you will rest ahead of your mountain gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day three highlights the 4-day Uganda flying safari as you come face to face with mountain gorillas. Hike the misty forested mountains for 1 to 4 hours until you meet the rare apes. You will have an hour in their presence to get to know more about them.
A mountain gorilla encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will cherish forever. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa People for a community experience taking you through their cultural heritage.
The Batwa initially inhabited the Bwindi Forest but were evicted to ensure the conservation of the wildlife species in the park. They will share their experiences and how they have coped with the new environment.
