Overview

This 14 Day Four Rivers Safari is the ultimate two-week safari. This Safari adventure starts in the capital city of Windhoek. This safari will visit some of the best national parks and game reserves on the route. This safari is for travellers seeking a less travelled road filled with wildlife, culture, birdlife, and most certainly an adventure. First of all, the diversity of our destinations will offer a great attraction to our travellers.

The Four Rivers Safari will visit the Okavango and the Kwando River before entering the Chobe and Zambezi rivers. These rivers are known for riverine forests and conservancies that are; as a result, home to a variety of southern Africa’s best wilderness. The highlight of our safari will most probably be our visit to the Okavango panhandle. The Okavango river forms part of one of the largest inland deltas in the world, namely the Okavango Delta. The Okavango river gives life to the Kalahari basin of Botswana because of an annual flood from Angola.

These waterways are, hence this reason, an ideal habitat for Africa’s wildlife and birdlife. The local communities along these waterways live a minimalistic lifestyle. As a result, they also travel along this magic water source on their local canoes dug out from a tree stump called a mokoro. The four rivers safari contrasts Namibia’s landscapes which changes into riverine forests with local communities.

We highly recommend this safari, which lets you see the Etosha National Park from a different perspective.
