TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:
Arusha – The city is located right at the foot of Mount Meru. Situated close by Mount Kilimanjaro, the Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks, Arusha is the ideal place to start off a Tanzanian safari adventure. And just to the north, on the slopes of Mount Meru, lies the Arusha National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park – With the lake on the east and the Manyara Escarpment on the west, Lake Manyara National Park boasts breathtaking views and is made up of a wide range of habitats: Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hotsprings, swamps, and of course the lake itself. Due to the variety of the environment, it is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible birdlife. Here, you can find the largest concentration of baboons in the world. And you might be lucky enough to spot the phenomenon of tree-climbing lions.

Serengeti National Park – Together with Kenya’s Maasai Mara, Serengeti National Park forms one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and Maasai Mara is earth’s largest mass movement of land mammals 0 more than a million animals migrate yearly to follow the rains and feeding grounds. Also home to the park are large lion prides, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, eland, and many more.

Ngorongoro Crater – The World Heritage Site is a must-visit when on safari in Tanzania. Located on the eastern edge of the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater was once a volcano which collapsed in on itself millions of years ago, creating a crater that houses its own unique ecosystem and incredible wildlife. water lake. You are likely to see lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and many of the plains herbivores such as; the wildebeest, the Thomson’s gazelle, the zebra and the reedbuck, as well as thousands of flamingos wading in the shallows of Lake Magadi – the soda lake at the crater’s base. Despite its steep walls, there’s a considerable amount of movement of wildlife in and out of the crater – mostly to the Serengeti, since the land between the crater and Lake Manyara is intensively farmed. The Ngorongoro Crater remains a favoured spot for wildlife because there’s a permanent water supply and grassland on the crater floor.
