Situated between Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve, the Khwai River is a scenic pearl of the Okavango Delta. It is home to some of Botswana’s most beautiful landscapes where a great variety of species like lions, leopards, elephants, wild dogs and buffalos roam freely.
The pristine wilderness of Moremi Game Reserve towards the eastern side of the Okavango Delta makes it one of Africa’s most iconic conservation areas. Quilted with wetlands, forests, floodplains and open grassland, it supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope.
Idyllically positioned in an ancient elephant corridor, the impressive landscape of Kazuma Forest Reserve stretches over thousands of hectares. Set out on game drives that will bring you up close and personal with the resident wildlife, including lion, leopard, sable, zebra, and hundreds of different bird species.
The Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the world’s largest inland deltas and offers a unique, water-based ecosystem. Known for its crystal-clear channels, lush floodplains, and abundant wildlife, the Delta is a sanctuary for elephants, lions, leopards, and countless bird species. This breathtaking wilderness is a haven for mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, walking safaris, and game drives, providing an unmatched opportunity to experience Africa’s natural beauty up close.
