Whether you’re indulging in the infinity pool or savoring an ‘armchair safari’ at the Nantwich Dam, your days are filled with authentic African marvels. Explore the area on Game Drives where your local expert guide knows where to track for mega buffalo herds and the lions who are likely in tow. As the sun sets, enjoy the peace around a crackling bonfire, sipping cocktails and watching the sky change colors. Then, indulge in a delicious boma dinner under the stars.
For the next 2 nights, let Camp Hwange be your base camp for exploring the wonders of Hwange National Park. Surrounded by rugged landscapes and diverse wildlife, there’s no shortage of adventure here. The diverse habitat makes for thrilling game drives, from open savannahs to traversing mopane woodlands and teak forests in search of Africa’s iconic animals. Go on guided bushwalks, connecting with the sights and sounds of the bush with expert trackers. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire to swap stories with fellow travelers, sharing the day’s highlights.

The town is small and offers an eclectic collection of excellent restaurants as well as authentic curio markets. If you love to collect curio you’ll love the Victoria Falls curio markets. On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to your accommodation, the wonderful Ilala Lodge where you will spend the night. Explore Vic Falls town to discover this laid-back travel hub where you can visit charming cafes or bustling markets. Find the best spot to view the Victoria Falls and be dazzled by the roar of the “Smoke that Thunders”. This afternoon you have the opportunity to relax while on a sunset cruise exploring the mighty Zambezi River.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Robins Airstrip. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Hideaways Bumbusi Wilderness Camp, our game lodge in the north of Hwange National Park. The camp is surrounded by evergreen trees and a natural spring offering regular wildlife encounters inside the campgrounds. Daily game drives and game walks in Hwange are included in your experience.
After breakfast, you will go on a game drive and arrive at Nantwich Lodge, your home for the next three nights. This Hwange game lodge, situated in the Northwest corner of the park is the last stop on your Zimbabwe safari. The safari lodge overlooks a large dam with resident crocodiles and hippos, boasting one of the best views in the Hwange National Park. Spend the next two days traversing this largely untouched area with game drives.
Our exciting Zimbabwe wildlife safari ends after breakfast at your lodge. You will be transferred to Shumba Airstrip to Victoria Falls Airport in time for your departure flight.
