Devil’s Pool is a seasonal experience because access to the natural pools depends on the water level and conditions of the Zambezi River.
The lower-water period is generally associated with the availability of the pool experience.
July to October as a particularly suitable period for adventure activities such as swimming in Devil’s Pool and visiting Livingstone Island
However, conditions can vary.

Devil’s Pool is not an artificial swimming pool.
It is a natural rock pool in the Zambezi River at the edge of Victoria Falls.
That means conditions can change.
Access is determined by the authorised guides and operators based on water levels and safety conditions.

Never attempt to reach Devil’s Pool independently.
Follow your guides’ instructions at all times.
If conditions are unsuitable, access may be restricted or the experience may not operate.
