Welcome to Avoca River Cabins

Avoca River Cabins is a family-owned accommodation and events destination situated on a working citrus farm in the Sundays River Valley, Eastern Cape, welcoming guests since 1997. Offering a peaceful farm and river experience, Avoca is ideally located with Addo Elephant National Park on our doorstep, making it an ideal base for travellers exploring the Greater Addo region.

 

 

Guests can enjoy guided safaris into Addo Elephant National Park in our open-sided safari vehicle, as well as relax and unwind at Indlovu Spa, uniquely set in traditional Xhosa-inspired mud huts overlooking the river. The property also features two dedicated wedding and event venues – The Orchard Room and The Riverside Deck, ideal for incentives, group functions, and special events.

    No deposit is required when a booking is made. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.

    ♣ Cancellation:
    22–30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the payment will be forfeited.
    21 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of the payment will be forfeited.

    ♣ No-show: 100% of the payment will be forfeited.

    ♣ All accommodation must be paid in full prior to occupation. Payment can be made via EFT or credit card (Mastercard & Visa).

    ♣ All rates include bed & breakfast and VAT.

    ♣ Single supplement: 50%

    Avoca River Cabins are located in the Sundays River Valley, 20 minutes from Addo Elephant National Park.

     

    Directions

    From Port Elizabeth, take the N2 toward Grahamstown, turn left onto R335 through Motherwell, travel 40km to Addo village, then left onto R336 and follow signs for 12.5km.
