We are delighted to announce the launch of Musesenji River Camp, the newest addition to the Ker & Downey Zambia portfolio, opening on the 1st of April 2027.

Perched on an elevated peninsula at the confluence of the Zambezi and Musesenji Rivers, the camp is in the remote East of Lower Zambezi National Park.  Just minutes eastward from Kulefu Airstrip, and together with our new plane, we seamlessly connect guests with our King Lewanika Lodge in Liuwa Plain and many other Zambian safari highlights

Zambia is renowned for being one of Africa’s finest safari experiences, known for its diverse game viewing, varied landscapes, rich topography and exceptional wildlife. In this uncrowded corner of Lower Zambezi, Musesenji River Camp focuses on immersive guided experiences in the abundance of the area, reconnecting guests with nature through insightful walks, tranquil boat cruises and exhilarating game drives.

Our vision for Musesenji River Camp extends beyond location alone. We have deliberately chosen to establish this camp in the more remote and quieter East of the Lower Zambezi preserving the authenticity of the wilderness experience and protecting the integrity of these untouched landscapes.
