An African safari is a dream for many, but often way out of budget. November–December changes that, with thriving landscapes, unforgettable wildlife and fewer crowds — all with a discounted price tag.
Our Spotlight on Northern Tanzania safari combines the best of two iconic destinations with intimate, under-canvas safari comfort — designed for a relaxed, low-season experience at an exceptional price.

• Central Serengeti: Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and open plains
• Camp Experience: Intimate camp, expert guides and delicious meals

This offer can be used between Wayo Serengeti Green Camp, Wayo Manyara Green Camp and Wayo Little Green Camp in any combination at any time of year in 2025, and excludes July & August in 2026. Read on below for a summary on each of these camps.
Set inside Lake Manyara National Park, this camp offers an insight into the area that no one else sees. Where game drives can be busier nearer the gates and on limited tracks, the location of our camp is remote, has multiple game drive, night game drive and canoeing options, and is away from the crowds.
The camp is located at the Endabash waterfalls, which provide a fantastic backdrop for sundowners and supper, but also act as a reliable water source for the visiting resident wildlife; waterbuck, elephants, baboons, leopards and lions who frequent the area throughout the day and into the evening. The camp has been locally handcrafted, creating a unique atmosphere for guests to enjoy
Located deep in the plains, this mobile camp bristles with personality, whilst remaining light on the ground. Locally handmade, and packing a punch in terms of guest experience, it is located in Kusini, away from the crowds, between December – April, and in Bologonja between June – October, with the Ndutu woodlands and the Mara River still within reach.
We can operate walking safaris from both of these locations inside the Serengeti National Park, as well as game-package bookings. Full board options are also available.
This camp is packed full of adventure. Set remotely, but with 6 star-roof tents, this small camp creates an intimacy within the Serengeti plains which is rarely seen by most travellers. The camp offers the full Wayo experience but on a lighter level.
Wayo Little Green Camp is positioned on the edge of walking zones, giving us privacy from the many game drive tracks found in the busier areas, and also provides us with the ability to conduct walking safaris straight from camp.
The Serengeti offers unique game-viewing year-round. In December, the great herds begin their journey south to the Ndutu region, preparing for calving season. January and February bring the magic of birthing season, where the short-grass plains—from the western Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the southeast Serengeti—become a nursery for thousands of newborn wildebeest and zebra.
