late dry season (September / October) is the best time to travel for those wanting to view the Okavango at its highest levels.
This time of the year is also considered the best time for game viewing due to the animals concentrating along the waterways.
Birding in the Moremi Game reserve is mostly done during the green season and this is because this time of the year is when most of the migratory birds fly into the country.
Viewing can be done either when you take a drive through the reserve, take a Mokoro drive or walk through the reserve especially in the mornings.
Warm to hot climate is found here. The dry season runs from April to October and is characterized by cooler, dry conditions. The wet season, from November to March, receives the majority of the reserve’s rainfall, along with higher temperatures.
